Pickpick

This book describes the fall of the Watchers, the angels who fathered the angel-human hybrids called Nephilim.

The remainder of the book describes Enoch's revelations and his visits to heaven in the form of travels, visions, and dreams.

It‘s a fascinating book with all kinds of interesting insights and some of the things that we think might be in the Bible are actually in the Book of Enoch, things about the names of certain angels and whatnot.

Mehso-so

I got more from googling this book than what I got from the actual reading experience. All I can tell you is there's a lot of gates and cows featured here.

What i did enjoy about this book though was the birth of Noah, we all love Noah, the guy who saved the animals two by two. I'd never given much thought to his family line and now I know it.

My understanding of religion is pretty minimal so not the best book for me to read.

Book of Enoch the Prophet | Robert Henry Charles

Reading before bed, because you know, reading about an angry God always brings good dreams. 😂 #asyoudo

Suet624 Ummmm, the description sounds really interesting. Is it? 7y
haileybean My knowledge of the Bible (especially Old Testament which is where this is supposed to be from) and of the Gnostic Gospels is very slim. I think it's interest since it talks about the events leading up to the flood and about how this prophet, Enoch, was ascended to Heaven. This book is admittedly not for everyone. I don't know that I would have picked it up if it wouldn't have fallen off the shelf and on my head @Suet624 7y
haileybean I read the description Litsy has for it, and that doesn't seem accurate to me. I think the "new age," and "occult" stuff is because he is a prophet and has visions in his dreams. @Suet624 7y
