Pickpick

Continuing on my previous review, this is the second Paddington book, which my kids and I moved right onto after finishing the first one. I love Paddington. He‘s a little bit salty, in the best tradition of British children‘s characters. I love how he gives people a “hard stare” when they are not taking him seriously, LOL! Another wholehearted recommendation. Perfect for comfort reading during stressful times, but never treacly.

Paddington was my favourite stuffed animal as a kid (as you can see he is well-loved). The books are from my childhood as well but I never read them. 🙈 Someday!

MsMelissa I love that you still have your Paddington 🥰. I still have a Peter Rabbit stuffy that was given to me when I was born. 4y
merelybookish @Book_Fiend_Melissa It's a dilemma what to do with him. I can't throw him out but I also don't have a spot for him. 🤷 4y

Centique I loved reading Paddington to my kids. A great opportunity to do my terrible approximation of an English accent 😂😂 4y
azulaco Oh my gosh, read them! He‘s hilarious and very sharp! I just started reading Paddington for the first time. I‘m reading with my boys and they love him! 3y
