pickI loved the Land of Story series, this second book in Chris Colfer‘s new series is set in A kingdom where Brystal is the Fairy Godmother and magic and fairies have made a comeback to be legal. Of course the brotherhood does not like that women and fairies and magic are moving in on their world. A good message for young readers at the end of this book.
pickLoved Lucy getting to break off on her own and save the day in this one! I hope we get more of each Fairy Council member's development into the people we know and love from TLOS. #childrensfantasy
pickI originally read this series as a read aloud with my kids. The original series (The Land of Stories) was a cute children‘s book series and we all enjoyed it. The prequel series is heavier, older, dealing with more real life stuff, and so incredibly profound. I was blown away by how much was dealt with in this book. And so good for my preteen daughter who deals with age appropriate self doubt. #thelandofstories #booksheal
So accurate. We have plans to build another wall bookcase in our bedroom. Until we do my side table is overflowing. The piles are high enough they may pose a hazard. :) #bookwormproblems
