This MF animal fantasy is one on a series called Pig the Pug. The story is about a trouble-making pug named Pig that gets into trouble but always blames it on someone else... but he learns his lesson about lying. This book would be great for PR and partners can discuss their connections to Pig‘s actions as they read! #ucflae3414sp21

Chaseb UDL strategies 7.2 optimizing relevance and value, and 8.3 foster collaboration would work well with this book. As well as EL strategy 2 promote cooperation & 4 link lesson topic to students‘ prior knowledge would work well with partnered reading.
I think this book (or the series) is a must for classroom libraries!

Pig the Pug gets up to all sorts - then lies and blames Trevor. Until the day it all goes wrong, Pig gets his comeuppance and Trevor gets his friend back. Worth reading simply for the expressions on Pig‘s face 🐶 #BBRC #A2Z

This book is very funny and definitely would get the children's attention and make them laugh. It is about a pug who is not very good and always blames his mistakes and bad behavior on his dog friend and then gets payback one day and gets injured. I enjoyed reading it myself and laughed as I read. The illustrations were very realistic and cute.

This is just a silly fun book to read in the classroom for young children. I think it teaches kids that it is not okay to lie because there will always be some sort of consequence. This book is good for ages Pre-K through Second I would say. I think the kids would love this book, and it is a good laugh.
