Spin Control: The White House Office of Communications and the Management of Presidential News | John Anthony Maltese
1 post
Spin Control, originally published in 1992, chronicles the development of the powerful White House Office of Communications and its pivotal role in molding our perception of the modern presidency. In this new edition, John Maltese brings his analysis up to date with a chapter detailing the media techniques of the Bush administration, the 1992 presidential campaign (including the use of talk shows like 'Larry King Live'), and the early Clinton administration.

Soubhiville These are fun looking beachy reads, great choice for summertime! 4y
Gissy @Meaw_catlady Yes, I'm crazy thinking that I can read all of those books.I have until December 31st?I wanted to share with you that when I was living in US this white young person not originally from US, told me that I was "too dark" for being a Latina and she was always so impatient with my accent. But that was her problem not mine. Yes, there is still discrimination out there. I experienced it while I was working due to my Latin origin & color 4y

Gissy @Soubhiville I have a quite long book list related with summer. Usually they are related with family or relationships drama. But I enjoy them between my other genre readings like fantasy. 4y
Meaw_catlady @Gissy that is so wrong ! And I can see it clearly everyday. Enough is enough and I will fight for a world where no one ever judges another human based on darkness of their skin. Thanks for sharing your story with me . 4y
Suet624 That would make me feel claustrophobic having so many books scheduled to read. 😂 4y
