Yes. To summarize the book in one quote, "....but in the heart of every man is a desperate desire for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue." I couldn't agree more. This is my second time through this book. It hit home this time through in ways it didn't the first time. Men, read this.

I've read this before. I think it will be different this time. Real men are needed at this point in history. Men with character and heart.

Desha I‘ve read his wife‘s book called Captivating. It was very encouraging…my small group read and discussed it and grew a lot from it! Looking forward to your review of his book! 8mo

The only thing more tragic than the tragedy that happens to us is the way we handle it.

Other than the Bible, no book have impacted my faith more than John Eldredge‘s Wild At Heart. It gave me a framework and a language through which I first learned that the Gospel applied to me, personally . . . every word. ‘Must read.‘

excited to finish this. I read the companion book "Captivating," and it was perfect! these aren't self-help or "how to be a better man/woman" books, they're about understanding your fundamental needs as a human, and respecting that.

I will not subscribe to complimentarianism, so this was my #threwitacrosstheroom A friend had recommended it, so i felt obligated to finish, which I don't normally do. I'll bail on a book I'm not enjoying because there are too many great books out there to waste time with bad ones. #photoadaynov16

BookishFeminist 😳 wth kind of sexist book is this. Not here for complementarianism either. 7y
KVanRead Okay so I just googled complementarianism. This is why I love Litsy! #learneditonlitsy Oh, and I'm definitely not down with that either. Would have thrown It across the room for sure. 7y
alisahar Uggggh I haven't read it but I'm way too familiar with this noxious and toxic ideology. 7y
