Done! I'm saying so-so because, as deep and complex as it is, the plot unravels clunklily by part 4 and the changing translation styles are hard to adjust to. I'm even going to say that you should watch the series instead. It's campy, messy and oddly censored, but it's still more fun to go through than the book. Pretty boys.

I'm loving it. A supernatural procedural (kind of urban fantasy, not usually my bag) with fun characters, good mysteries, and a hefty dose of political intrigue (which is my bag).

For a web danmei (i.e. BL) novel, it's indeed very good and deserves the rabid fan following it's garnered. The fan translation on Wattpad is pretty good; it's consistent, which is rare in fan translations.

The tv series is quite different but very good and pretty.
