The Pandemic has allowed me an opportunity to attend author talks all over the country, and I have taken full advantage of that gift. I watched David Allen Sibley discuss this impressive book. Beautiful artwork by the author covering two hundred species!

You can see a part of the bird bath that I added to the deck. Watching the enjoyment of visiting feathered friends has brightened my day!

Since the pandemic, I‘m in my house and backyard SO much more. Our little bird population fascinates me. I‘ve even taken the telephoto lens out of its case and captured some birds in the flowers and birdbath. See my sweet goldfinch pair in the sunflowers? So, when this book was on Kindle sale yesterday, I grabbed it right up!

A surprise gift from my husband 😍I‘ve always enjoyed casual birdwatching but being sheltered in place has given me tons of time to enjoy the birds in my neighborhood and local parks. Beautiful book.

This sweet sparrow woke me up this morning. She flew into my window and landed on my roof on her back. I wanted to help her, but I would have landed on my back too. She eventually flipped over on her own and flew away as good as new. Pretty resourceful creature!
