panI hated this book. The subject matter is of interest to me, I like intergenerational narratives, but Dave‘s voice is grating and childish. I really do not recommend this at all.

pickI enjoyed this story of three generations of strong, brave, intelligent Indian women. Simran has graduated from NYU, and is engaged to her childhood sweetheart. Her mother believes that she has done her duty and guided her daughter to a happy life. Until, things change. Themes of Mother/Daughter love, cultural differences, and women stepping into their power.
