I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It‘s not one I would have normally picked up but a friend recommended it and I‘m glad I decided to read it. I listened to most of it on audio and one of my favorite narrators, January LaVoy narrated it. The story deals with intertwining relationships between a godmother and her goddaughters.

How did three woman come to have the same Godmother? And which of the three will inherit the big house in Martha‘s Vineyard? I stopped caring about midway through although I read to the end.

About last night, my in person book club met face to face again! We are so excited to be back together. Hopefully, we continue despite the recent rise in Covid-19 numbers. No mask mandate in my state right now although I‘ve read that some states are back wearing masks. We enjoyed the book and had a great conversation about it. That‘s me in the front wearing black.

GreenGrl87 I love it! 🙌🏽 3y

This was a slow burn for me, but ended up being pretty good. I wasn‘t expecting it to turn out the way it did. Some outcomes I didn‘t believe (Perry‘s story), but whatever. LOL

This is a fun, summer read that I devoured, but I doubt any of it will stick with me. Haven‘t decided yet if I‘m going to read the sequels. The ending of this one is pretty satisfying.
