Going literal for today's #marchintoreading 😁#seasoninthetitle

Listener15 I read the first volume of Fables recently, does the series stay good as it goes along? 7y
Eyelit @Listy It does kind of drag at a certain point towards the beginning of the end, but once that is over it builds up to a satisfying conclusion imho 7y
Listener15 @Eyelit I saw there were other Fables "series," have you read those? I'm just curious how good it is because my local used book stores usually have these too. 7y
Eyelit @Listy I liked Fairest and the Cinderella spinoffs - though they were short. Just started the everafter series, like it so far. I wasn't a fan of the Jack series... despite some interesting ideas/stories - I just really hated Jack himself and had a hard time getting past that. It's slightly worth reading the jack series for the inevitable crossover, though. (The Unwritten also had a crossover with Fables towards the end) 7y

This one had some beautiful artwork, but overall the volume was a bit scattered. I felt like it was marking time before getting back into the main storyline. Snow White's babies, though! Love.
