What an amazing book! This would make a great movie or series. I love all the nods to Stephen King! The real standout in this are the strong, intelligent female characters!

#Sbooktober photo for Oct. 3rd is a picture of an October craft. It's nothing fancy or fall related, but I've been practicing my crocheting by making reusable pads for my swiffer. These are the first things I've crocheted so they don't look great, but they don't really need to 😅

I think I'm caught up with the photo challenges now.

Crazeedi That is such a great idea, I wish I could crochet!! I use old socks LOL, 4y

Patchshank @Crazeedi that's a good idea. I've thought about using old t-shirts and stuff. Learning to crochet so far hasn't been too hard. I watched a few youtube videos. I'm using the pads as a way to practice and experiment with different stitches, because it doesn't really matter if I screw up or it doesn't look pretty. 4y

Yesterday was a fantastic reading day for me! I finished 4 books, and started Qu33r. At midnight, I clocked in at 23 hours, which may be a new day two record for me during #24B4Monday. ♥️ Hoping for another day filled with reading and sunshine.

Weekend reading!

This latest from Simone St. James features a dual storyline: 1982, Viv takes on the night shift at the Sun Down Motel and things quickly get weird! 2017, Carly has come to the Sun Down Motel to find out the truth about her aunt who went missing over three decades ago. I mean, I figured after The Return I should continue with the creepy lodging stories 🤓

This one comes out in Feb!
