pickI‘m so, so glad I discovered L.A. Witt this month. STARSTRUCK is packed full of film appreciation and actors discussing their craft and dudes becoming BFFs while they try not to fall hard for each other and people asking themselves what they‘ve gotta offer up in order to get what they really want out of life, and I loved it.
Also, there are two sweet cats.
Further outdoor dining efforts, with book. My ereader needed to recharge right around the 50% mark, so I reluctantly put STARSTRUCK down yesterday evening and managed not to pick it up again until this morning. Now I‘m all in until I finish it. Only about 20% to go!
NB: this is the first month in I dunno how long where I‘ve read every single book I‘ve purchased. I‘m living the dream, baby!
It‘s hot enough that I didn‘t want to get murdered for turning the oven on, so I went with pad Thai & Red Roof Lager for supper instead of warm Brussels sprout salad. Eaten outside, of course, because I looove heat.
I also looove L.A. Witt. Every June I discover an awesome book, series, or author, and this year she‘s IT. The only trouble is, all the film talk in STARSTRUCK makes me want to screen something, and I‘d have to quit reading for that.
I planned to start STARSTRUCK by L.A. Witt over breakfast, but the Saturday crosswords distracted me and I ended up diving in on a 20-minute bike ride instead. I think I‘m gonna like it a lot.
