She has a problem with thinking that her dead mother lives in a scar in her neck. Will she get married or will her mother kill her first?
so-soI definitely enjoyed this gothic body horror more than Mexican Gothic, but it felt a little long in the middle.
The reviews for this are really mixed, but it sounds right up my alley. Has anyone else checked this one out? Also... how is it so dark so early!
pickAn awesome debut novel! This book, about a young Victorian woman who is possessed by her mother, was darkly funny and oddly endearing. A great book for a rainy day #TheUnsuitable #MollyPohlig #debut
