Miracle Cure | Harlan Coben

Well, this is the last unread Coben I had on my “shelf” and it was published in 1991. I listened to the audiobook. I loved that Coben spoke at the beginning about the book & how, despite it being an early book of his & a bit rough, he still loves it. I do, too.
This one centers around the early years of the AIDS epidemic & the stigma associated with it.

I could really feel the vibes from the days when AIDS was one of the biggest fears, and I am sure this book was really something back in the days. It‘s a good read for sure, and it‘s interesting to read 30 years after it‘s been written. Strong characters as always, and I love it how Coben writes what he means, doesn‘t hide things from the reader, and it‘s just excellent writing to begin with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

EadieB I haven‘t read this yet! 2y
Andrew65 @EadieB @Tove_Reads This was one of his early books and written about 30 years ago. I enjoyed it but it didn‘t have the finesse of his later books. 2y
