Another Saturday, another book report. I read Human Voices ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, 150 pages of Our Mutual Friend #chunkster and finished listening to my Harry Potter audiobook, such a good comfort read/listen.
Dad finished Double Cross which he loved - he‘s also read Agent Zigzag by this author and loved it too.
Son and I started The Amber Spyglass as a read aloud.

One of his best- absolutely fascinating

I‘ve been interested in books about D-Day since we visited the Normandy beaches a few years ago. Just started this nonfiction about the five double agents whose efforts prevented the Nazis from learning the location of the landing. These spies sound stranger than fiction. “A bisexual Peruvian playgirl, a tiny Polish fighter pilot, a mercurial French-woman, a Serbian seducer, and a deeply eccentric Spaniard with a diploma in chicken farming.”

Great book had a lot of cool inside declassified information from WWII about British intelligence trying and succeeding to bring down the German war machine from the inside.
