Wake leaves you with confusion after every chapter, making you want to keep reading to know what happens next and then so on. It leaves a mystery behind, which makes the book so much more interesting. The story line in this book is so unique and different which makes the book perfect for young teenage readers. The author switched up the story as well from the present, past then the future.

This is a super thick book, so I'd recommend it for someone who has a lot of time on their hands. It's got a little bit of everything, thriller, drama, horror, romance, humour and fantasy. I haven't gotten too far, but so far it's really good. Starts off steady and rises. Eventually skyrocketing into adventure.

This bind up of Wake, Fade and Gone was so engaging. I‘m not a big completer of trilogies, but Lisa McMann does it for me!! Janie gets sucked into other people‘s dreams, which might sound interesting, but it‘s a rather awkward and dangerous occurrence. Great premise, quick read.

I LOVE this trilogy. The main character walks in others nightmares. And not in a good way. The entire series is very somber but it goes with the stories. And while I hate them, I will put out a trigger warning. Sexual nightmares as well as others are mentioned.

Around the US this series is usually all bundled together in Dont Close your eyes because the books are relatively short.

Grade HS for subject matter.

This was an awesome read. I've recommended it to several friends (all in the 16-18 age range) and we all enjoyed it quite a bit. Great read for young adults!

Got this today review unseen. Turns out the Goodreads reviews weren't all that bad. And I didn't know, but found out it's a compilation of a trilogy: Wake, Fade, and Gone. The book description is kind of vague. Looking forward to reading it though!

I had never heard of this author when this trilogy was given to me so I didn't really know what to expect. These books were amazing, I will definitely be looking into others from McMann!
