Well, that‘s a shitty way to call Arab people. I‘m really disappointed in these authors. And they didn‘t even do a decent research about the laws in Dubai. “These people in Arab countries” don‘t all have the same laws, and it‘s actually not illegal for women to wear revealing clothes in Dubai.
Got my first #BookBingo2019 square. I play these games so backwards generally reading what I want and seeing what category it might fill rather than seeking out a book in each category. 🤷🏾♀️ it works for me.
pickThis was super fun and 🔥🔥🔥. I rally enjoyed the plot line and concept as it was totally new to me.
pickThere are several things I loved about this book. I don't think I have one bad thing to say about. The narrators: Andi and Sebastian are my FAVORITE. ⠀
The characters: Kendall and Carter were wonderful and I liked them right off the bat. They both were easy to connect to and I loved the chemistry between the two. The overall story: Tons of funny and not so funny things happen in the book. I didn't want this book to end.
pickDon't think I've loved a book this much in years! Loved these two ladies' writing so much I went on to read their other two books- Cocky Bastard and Stuck-Up Suit within days. You will be swept away by Carter, I know I was!
I've been in a book slump for weeks - starting some books, but getting bored really quickly. And since I no longer power through books that I find unpleasant to read, I've been dnf'ing the last 8-10 reading attempts.
Today I'm starting Playboy Pilot by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland. I've quite enjoyed this duo's story-telling, so let's hope that this book is the one to take me out of this slump!
