This history-mystery series continues with another fine display of brains and bravery from the Wollstonecraft Girls Ada Bryon Lovelace and Mary Shelley. I read this Aug 18-24 & rated it 3.5 ⭐️. I liked it enough to pick up the third book. I did find the addition of Jane and Allegra a bit distracting from Ada and Mary. As well the story was a bit too rushed. But it was a fun read. In some ways, I find these stories to be similar to the John Bellairs books that I grew up and I kind of wish I had these books growing up.

Another excellent mystery featuring the Wollstonecraft Detectives! It was quite the interesting plot. I will definitely listen to this audiobook again!

Currently listening to number 2 in the Wollstonecraft Detective Agency series. I'm really enjoying this middle-grade series and the character of Lady Ada in particular.

I love girl detective stories and liked this use of historical characters - intelligent, AMAZING girls from history. Didn't mind the liberties with ages and facts (and they were all set straight in the endnotes), but too often the prose was... distractingly awkward.
