Mehso-so

Between a pick and so-so. I read the entire trilogy and will review all. This first book starts out rough. It‘s just gross and uncomfortable and I considered bailing. I stayed with it and grew interested in the story. Karl and Dawn are brought together by their shared grief over loved ones‘ horrific online dating experiences. Karl is fine but Dawn is hard to root for. Some answers are given but they just lead to more questions. #catsoflitsy

Very creepy, not too far fetched for a thriller. I definitely would read more books by him. I won this from #goodreadsgiveaway and I was not at all disappointed.

I considered bailing on this novel for about the first 30 pages. I'm glad I held out, though, because after that first chunk this story took a super creepy turn, and I read the rest of it in one sitting. This novel will make you never want to try online dating, make you question whether or not you really know the people with whom you share your house and your life, and will lead you to check your closets for men who don't have faces.

☠️☠️ Definitely not on my list of favorites or enjoyed reads. The themes it says it explores, it does not. If it were anymore crude, it'd cross into smut.

I received a free ebook copy of this from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this one! Parts of it are really fresh and unique. Also, I like the splash of horror. Some things were pretty creepy actually. Excellent psychological thriller!
