This erotic romance is a great gender flipped version of the usual badass sexy billionaire narrative. Rai strikes a great balance of plenty of sexy times 🔥🔥🔥 but also ample doses of 💓. Tbh, it was actually a little TOO wild for me at times (group sex & BDSM just aren't my jam). Very feminist and sex-positive, dealt with the man's journey of realizing having feminist principles didn't always mean he was acting in accordance with them. #Romantsy

So the current obstacle for the couple in this romance is:
Her: I'm too sexually wild for you. This is never gonna work.
Him: Try me.
The next day...
Her: Here's a classy paper invite to a literal orgy I'm hosting at my mansion.
Him: 😲

"Um..."

"I mean, it's not our fault delightful gifts from God bless our lives. And everything else."

Hahaha

I am so excited about the #BookMail I got today!! I was fed up with not being able to get the romance books I wanted to read from local libraries or bookstores so I treated myself and ordered them online! Courtney Milan and Alisha Rai are my two favourite romance authors. #Romantsy

Rec by fellow romance reader @readbyher. Finished this book in one sitting. I liked the strong and sassy heroine, and how feminist the book was. But for reasons I can't explain, I just didn't connect with the characters that much. So I wasn't as invested in their story as I wanted. Still curious about Alisha Rai's other books, especially Hate to Want You.

BookThingo I had similar issues. I skimmed for the dirty bits but didn't really feel compelled enough to read it properly. (edited) 7y
Chachic @BookThingo Oh good to know that I'm not the only one who didn't love this book! I keep seeing rave reviews about it. I didn't skim but I wasn't really absorbed. 7y

Akira Mori was partial to a certain kind of man: the kind you fucked raw and dirty until your voice was hoarse and your skin slick with sweat. The location wasn't important—up against a brick wall, in the back of a car, on a kitchen island... #romantsy #wocinromance

Chachic Ayan na si Alisha Rai! Kakatapos mo lang pala basahin ito, bes? 7y

I love Alicia Rai's work. The characters are people you want to see win. They are well developed and they are relatable. The sexy parts are always 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 but more often than not the encounters further the story so it's not simply gratuitous.

MeganB Yea! The series is about the Campbell siblings and there's 4, I think, if I'm remembering right 7y

I have yet to read a book by Alisha Rai that I didn't love.

MeganB She's so amazing! Have you read the spinoff novellas of this one? 8y
Emily.R @MeganB No! I've read Glutton for pleasure and Be my fantasy. Now I must read everything Alisha Rai has ever written 😊 8y
MeganB Be my fantasy is the spinoff! It's Tess from the sex party! (Lol never thought I'd be saying that anywhere) The sequel is stay my fantasy and that finishes their story, it's fantastic! And I have glutton for pleasure on my old laptop, I have to move it over to my new nook somehow... 🤔 8y
PurlSquirrel Glutton for Pleasure is great, so is Serving Pleasure 7y
