So after reading “Murder in the Bayou” which detailed coverups, incompetence and killers going free, it was such a relief to read this book. Over 20 marginalized men were killed by one horrific killer and the police task force worked so hard to bring him to justice because they believed all victims deserve justice. What a strong contrast.
