Andrew65 @EadieB It is quite a good series. There was a very good tv series of it many years ago. Dalziel is a cantankerous â€˜fat manâ€˜ and Pascoe a University Graduate. Andrew65 @EadieB It as a to watch show when it was on. Colin Buchanan who starred as Pascoe is the narrator for the audiobooks. 4y

Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks The City of London is the historic centre of London and the financial / business district. It is known locally as the city and the square mile, as it only covers 1.12 square miles. This article gives more information on the wards covered as well as a map.

Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks Greater London is the rest of London, most books will be set in Greater London. If it covers The Bank of England, St Paul‘s Cathedral, the Tower, Temple (figures in code type books), Barbican, the Old Bailey and London Bridge it will be the City of London.

Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks Feel free to ask me at any time whether a certain location is in the City of London or Greater London as I was born and brought up in Greater London, however my dad and sister both worked in the City of London. Not lived in London since 1986 though. (edited) 4y

Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks The city of London is such a small precise area it will be tricky to find some books that meet this requirement. I will do some research. I think some of the Da Vinci Code takes place in the City of London. (edited) 4y

Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks I read Ratcatcher a few years ago and remember really enjoying it, as did my wife. I really need to get back to that series, only read the first one. It is only a short series - 6 books I believe. 4y
