Patrick Rothfuss recommend.
Just started this one. Pretty fun spoof on all the new sexy, good vampires versus the old school evil kind
I finished this book yesterday and I liked it. It is full of dark humour and I loved Yulric, the vampire of the story. I really liked the premise of the story, a vampire that comes to this century to re-establish the original fame of his kind, although no one believes that he is a vampire. It is a light read, full of funny characters and some parts that will really make you laugh. All in all, it is a good enterntaining book.
I am giving this one a try. The premise seems very interesting, and I am in need of something light, fun and a bit dark.
Yulric Bile is annoyed. A very annoyed, very old, very ugly vampyr. Vampires are not supposed to be good, They are not supposed to be sexy. Yulric certainly isn't. And thus we begin our "hero's" journey. What is a modern vampire?
It's dark, satirical, and makes fun of the sexy vampire idea. I laughed out loud and possible snorted a few times. Good Omens, Christopher Moore humor. So happy McDoniel got published on Inkshares.
My toddler has decided it's my bed or bust. Kindle to the rescue. Getting some reading in while the pint sized awake one who should be sleeping sings his own version of wheels on the bus.
