Mehso-so

🎧 I liked the movie so I bought the book & it sat on a TBR stack for a decade 😳 The book was so different from the movie that they‘re nearly incomparable. The book had a truly amazing concept but the delivery was choppy & made the book awkward. A couple times I thought I‘d spaced & missed something only to rewind and nope it just stopped & changed gears. Narration was good & helped but it took me time to get through it. Thanks Hoopla! ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/8

I just ... I can't. I gave it 6 hours of the 20 hour audio book. The plot moves so slow. There was so much unneeded exposition.

Saw the movie for this first. May regret that. Oh well. Next audio read. Start it Monday.
