Wombat Stew
Wombat Stew | Marcia Kay Vaughan, Pamela Lofts
1 post | 2 read
In this classic Australian picture book, a dingo catches a wombat and wants to cook him in a stew. But all the other bush animals have a plan to save their friend. They trick the dingo into using mud, feathers, flies, bugs and gumnuts in his wombat stew, and the result is a stew the dingo will never forget!

#BBRC #A2Z #LetterW Another one of my granddaughter‘s favourites, it tells the story of dingo who thinks he‘s caught a nice fat wombat to make a 🎵crunchy munchy for my lunchy wombat stew🎵But wombats friends keep making suggestions for ingredients to put in this stew & insist he taste it before putting in his wombat. Needless to say, dingo howls he‘s been poisoned & lucky wombat joins his friends in singing a chorus of Wombat Stew.
