I didn't really enjoy this one. The characters were bland. Their chemistries were bland. There were cringy parts. The only thing I liked was the Igbtqia inclusion in the MC.

This was somewhere between a 2.5 and 3 star read for me. I loved the setting but just could not get invested in the characters and the story. I read it hoping I would get into it but I couldn't. I don't know why. It was a sweet summer story but it just wasn't for me

Staycation Day 2: I was way to early for a meeting at my local coffee shop, so I cooled my heels with a frozen hot chocolate and a book... jury‘s still out on the book but the frozen hot chocolate was great.

It‘s set in Maine and I found it so authentic to the busy tourist-y small town Maine summers I spent so many years living! Warning: Do not read on an empty stomach!
