The idea of a bookstore in a castle on an island worked better for me than the actual book. Found my attention wandering a lot with this one, and realized I was skimming over text to get through it, rather than focusing and actually reading it. Had potential but didn‘t live up to it for me.

First book for #CozyInTheSun complete!

This one had a lot of promise - a bookshop in a castle really caught my attention! But, the editorial errors in the book really frustrated me (the cat‘s name, which were initials, were typed wrong on several occasions). I wasn‘t fond of the MC and rolled my eyes a few times at things she did and said. Just okay for me.

Started this one tonight, to coincide with #CozyInTheSun . Set in Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands region of New York. A bookshop in a castle...sounds fun!

My finished soup for lunch & #soupersundays blog post. Added a few ingredients & made some changes to turn a Mark Bittman tomato & garlic soup into Margherita Pizza Soup with Pizza Toasts for dipping.
