I really enjoyed this book. The story moved quickly and it was very entertaining. Phoebe, grieving the death of her best friend, fulfills a lifelong dream of opening a vintage clothing shop and the people that come into her life and shop help her move on past the guilt and grief she feels while she helps another do the same. A very good read.
“I‘m giving these clothes a new lease on life. And I love the fact that I‘m able to restore them. Where there are so many things in life that can‘t be restored.”
Phoebe Swift deals with the pressures of her best friend's (Emma Kitts) untimely death. In addition, her parents are recently divorced. And their strained relationship also contributes to her stress as she remains loyal to her mother while growing to love little Louis, her father's love-child.
