Interesting world building with an Aztec twist.

Just as good as the first one. Theres a lot more twists and the whole book is one big long action sequence. He's still an arsehole but you can't help but like him. I got the third one so I'll be reading that one soon.

**I purchased a copy of this book for my own enjoyment, with no expectation of a review**

I love this urban fantasy series! Nothing like a wise-cracking, sarcastic anti-hero to make for interesting reading. I appreciate the weaving in of Aztec/Toltec myth and legend. There were unexpected revelations at the end that turned everything upside down. I can't wait to read the next Eric Carter book!
