Book 20 in one of my favourite and @Crazeedi ‘s favourite series, the Inspector Montalbano series. Definitely highly recommended.

Gissy I‘m collecting this series at least the first books to start with it. 2y
Andrew65 @Gissy Hope you enjoy them, thinking of reading the series all over again. 2y

Crazeedi @Andrew65 there are 2 last ones I haven't read, but I will. As I told you before I don't reread books, but these are very very tempting to reread. I started watching the shows too, they are subtitled but then I didn't renew subscription that they were on. I dream of being in Sicily with this crazy crew😉💜 2y
Andrew65 @Crazeedi Some seem to be on YouTube 2y
Crazeedi @Andrew65 wow! I'll check, I did see some interviews from the show on there, but not the series, but maybe they've posted them 2y

Finished my fifth book during the #24B4Monday #Readathon, and my second one read totally during the Readathon. Currently at 23 hours and 6 minutes, almost there!
As always with the Montalbano books this was a cracking read, and Montalbano used his usual crafty ways to get to the bottom of an intriguing case. These books are always great reads, with good humour and interplay between the characters. Totally recommended and great translations.

tammysue Wow you‘re really moving along! 🙌🏻 5y

JazzFeathers I always wonder about the translations. The originals are so peculiar. 5y
Andrew65 @JazzFeathers I think these are amongst the best translations. 5y

Inspector Montalbano does it again. I found this to be a more satisfying mystery than some recent ones have been. I'm pleased to see that the Inspector seems to have found an ally in a position of influence.

Not the strongest book in the Inspector Montalbano series but still a solid read with a focus this time on the detective trying to maintain his investigative abilities in spite of his advancing age.
