A heartfelt coming of age story.
I honestly didn't want this one to end. I completely fell for the protagonist Lucy. I was hopful and heartbroken for her throughout this book.

There are also certain lines and moments that were poignant, but overall the existential ponderings felt heavy-handed and pretentious. Simone de Beauvoir this, Camus that. Sigh. And the journey overall wasn‘t satisfying or profound. Ultimately forgettable. #ARC
