A witch could be considered a #burningbride of the devil, especially one burned at the stake. I‘m not as familiar with books about the European witch-hunts as I am with the Salem Witch Trials, but this books has been on my to read list forever! I have to get to it at some point - I‘m told it‘s good and well researched, though a slightly dry narrative. It follows a witch hysteria in Langenburg that ends up targeting an entire family. #NoFemmeber

Cinfhen Nice 👍🏻 and a great pick for #NonfictionNovember 😊 5y
Billypar Sounds interesting and terrifying! Real-life hysteria leading to executions is scarier than the mythology itself 😬 5y
