pickSo glad a friend of mine suggested this book to me. I liked it a lot. It reminded me of "The Clifton Chronicles" by Jeffery Archer. Can't wait for the next one to see what happens next.
First week of February and I am able to set outside and read. Thought I would do it today, 73 degrees, because by Friday the high will be 45 degrees. If you don't like the weather in Arkansas, stick around because it will change within a day or two 🤗
pickYay!!! She‘s starting a new series. This one was so good. Takes place in Victorian England!! I‘m already in love with the characters and now have to wait for the second book. 😢
so-soMy first BTB book, and it just wasn‘t for me. I would give it a pan, but I felt that a bit harsh.
The characters did not feel real to me, their conversations stilted and unnatural for the most part. There were stretches of encyclopedic prose defining things that were already clear to me...irritating and unnecessary.
Beginning of a series that I probably won‘t continue. No offense to her fans. 2/5⭐️
