In So Deadly A Battle... United at last with Diana, the mistress of her coven, Cassie must first sacrifice her love for Adam to save the Secret Circle and the town of New Salem from the evil powers of the witch Faye. Threatened by the possibility of her destruction in a final battle between good and evil, Cassie must hope that her supernatural gifts are strong enough to obliterate the powers of evil. If victorious, Cassie will win more than she ever dreamed. But if she and Diana fail, the Power will go to those who seek only to destroy....Can Anyone Triumph?

Pickpick

Another nostalgia-pick, this concludes the original trilogy. None of these kids act like kids, but I love this story and always have. First finish of #AnyWayYouReadathon (I think I‘ll actually meet my goals!).

Goals for #AnyWayYouReadathon are pretty modest: catch up on Vanguard for #SheSaid and The Tao of Pooh for #DeadPhilosophersSociety and finish the tagged. Family are conspiring against me reading this week, but I‘m going to try! If, by some miracle, I meet those goals I‘ll start Squad.

Eggbeater Good luck! Thanks for joining! 2y

Thanks for the tag @MoonWitch94 #ThoughtfulThursday
I‘m also reading Vanguard, The Woman in White, and More All-of-a-Kind family with the kiddo.
When kiddo was trying to make a Christmas wish list and it was hard because “my life is pretty good right now.”
I hate editorial errors, and I really hate thinking a book is a standalone when it‘s a series starter. Also abusive behavior as a “he likes her.”
Let‘s play!

MoonWitch94 Ohhh I hate it when I think it‘s a standalone but find out it‘s a series! I always find the one in the middle of the series 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks for playing ✨♥️📖 2y
SamanthaMarie Yes!! Let's please stop saying toxic behavior is okay/equals love. Better stories!! 2y
ravenlee @SamanthaMarie I‘ve been reading Harry Potter to the kiddo for the first time and I keep stopping and commentating on Ron‘s wretched behavior toward Hermione. We‘re moving on to The Half-Blood Prince soon and I‘m already angry about that part. I just hate this stupid trope sooooo much and really don‘t want to pass it down. 2y
Chrissyreadit One good thing is that Hermione dishes it back - unless I‘m misremembering. 2y

Pickpick

My little witchy friend is pulling one of my favorite witchy reads out of her #Cauldron for today‘s #OctoberPutASpellOnYou prompt! The Secret Circle trilogy was a much beloved read for me in jr. high and high school. And it‘s held up over the years! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a witchy YA adventure from the early 90‘s!

ravenlee Love this trilogy! It holds up much better than her other works I‘ve reread. The tv series was awful, though. 6y
the.bookish.valkyrie @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Thank you! 🖤🦇@ravenlee The TV show really was terrible! 🤦🏻‍♀️ 6y
