Who's afraid of the big, bad werewolf? When London's brightest tinkers and alchemists come up missing, Red Cape Society Agent Clemeny Louvel is on the case.To help Clemeny get the problem in hand, Queen Victoria assigns her a temporary partner-a werewolf with a knightly history and a tendency to be far too flirtatious for either of their good. Can she trust him to help her chase down the monsters they're hunting?Wolves and Daggers is a retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale set in Melanie Karsak's bestselling steampunk universe.

Book 1 in the retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. I have to tell, y‘all I think I‘ve found a new favorite author to add to my list! This is a steampunk paranormal read and she filled her 100 pages with great storyline and characters and has set up the next title handily. #littleredridinghood #retelling #fairytaleretelling

abookdragonsretreat I love Melanie Karsaks steampunk books, I think the Alice in Wonderland retelling is my favourite of hers❤ 3y
KristiAhlers @AmyTheBookdragon I‘m actually going to do an Alice in Wonderland retelling theme for myself and I just downloaded that one! Super excited for it. 3y

Thanks for the tag @MoonWitch94 and @WJCintron

1. I looked out my window one morning and saw a yellow and green parakeet hanging out and foraging with a flock of sparrows in my yard. Seemed like the sparrows adopted it.

2. September 1st.

3. A steampunk retelling of Red Riding Hood.

Last week‘s #ThoughtfulThursday

WJCintron That‘s beautiful! ☺️ Animals have a LOT to teach us. Especially, how to be human. 3y

Mehso-so

Considering this book was a short first installment for the Steampunk Red Riding Hood series, it was quite enjoyable. I really liked the plot, and it was well thought out and had a lot of components, however this also made it a bit confusing to understand. I loved the world building and steampunk vibes, and I really liked the main characters, though I wish Clemency didn't constantly refer to the fact that she needs to find a man. Overall good.
