Mini Habits for Weight Loss
Mini Habits for Weight Loss: Stop Dieting. Form New Habits. Change Your Lifestyle Without Suffering. | Stephen Guise
6 posts | 6 read
The brain resists dramatic behavioral shifts. Recognizing this and developing a strategy around it made the original Mini Habits the #1 selling self-help book in a number of countries. In Mini Habits for Weight Loss, youll discover that we also biologically resist such changes, which explains why most dieters and smoothie-cleanse aficionados lose weight in the short term, only to gain it all back (and more). Mini Habits for Weight Loss will show you how to make dietary changes in a sustainable, permanent way that doesnt trigger biological or neurological resistance. Its an advanced version of the method that made the original book a hit in 14 languages. The mini habits remain easy to implement, but the reasoning and supporting strategies are more sophisticated. This is by necessity, as weight loss factors are many and varied. All the suggestions in the book are rooted in extensive biological and neuroscience research.

Garbage. Here's the gist: if you want to eat healthier, start with one serving of fruit or vegetable a day. Want to work out more, start with one pushup or ten jumping jacks. There are very few actionable items given, and A LOT of filler, mostly common sense (diets don't work, processed foods are bad, etc.), but presented here as if he has come from the mountain top with revelatory information. Very full of himself, but aren't most self-help folk?

And once you‘re done with Mini Habits for Weight Loss, pick up this one! Less of Me…. By Becky Lehman. (Book not on Litsy database) This review is just gonna state it simply: This helped me shift my mindset when it comes to weight loss from struggle to spiritual hope. #weighloss

See that last line right there? “Change your lifestyle without suffering” This is no lie! I absolutely loved this book and will be picking up the main habits book after reading this! This is a practical, actionable guide to actually change your habits! I highly recommend this book. I haven‘t been giving many 5 stars recently - but this book earned it!

I wouldn‘t exactly say reading about losing weight is my favorite topic, but I‘ve struggled with my weight and body image since kindergarten. This book shows readers that no diet (whether called a “lifestyle” or not) will ever work for a lifetime... not ever. The only way is through. It‘s gradual change over time. I‘ve never read a more truthful truth. Damn, I wish it were a faster process. Tis not fast, but it is easier than I ever imagined.
