so-soMy dad thought I would like this book. Bless his heart. I did like some aspects of it - I like that it took place in the South, I liked the kids' names, and there were a handful of good quotes.
What I didn't like was that it was so predictable.
I had never read anything by David Baldacci before and I understand that this book is unlike all his others.
For me, it was okay. Not a pan, but not a favorite.
"George is smart. Most times he hits where the clothing covers."
"Why didn't you just ask Billy if he had hit him?"

#Six books by the same author. I haven't read any of these. My husband rarely reads but when he does he enjoys Baldacci's novels.
