Ugh! The superintendent here has closed all school activities to spectators (sporting events will continue with no viewers.) The high school musical was to open Friday. The director of the show is the stage manager for Disney Cruise & has a ship to catch so they‘re running the show Friday and Saturday (w/no spectators) and recording it so he can watch it. My kiddo is the lead Saturday night and I won‘t get to see it 😢

TheKidUpstairs I'm so sorry, that sucks that they won't get a chance to show an audience the results of their hard work. Hopefully your daughter and the rest of the cast are able to enjoy their time performing, even if there's no audience. 4y

Chrissyreadit I‘m sorry!! I‘ve been on pins and needles for the same reason. This weekend is the community youth theatre show and my daughter is Elsa in Frozen. I think if it was one more week we would be in same position. 4y

Chrissyreadit On another note- how amazing to get a director from Disney Cruises- thats like an audition!!! My daughter is hoping to work on a cruise ship in musical theatre. 4y

The director‘s sister has been here a little over a week volunteering her time to the show. She‘s also a stage director on broadway. I hope these kids realize how fortunate they are to have this kind of experience! 4y
