Iconic New York Coloring Book
Iconic New York Coloring Book: 24 Sights to Fill in and Frame | Emily Isabella
2 posts | 1 to read
The Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Station, Central Park, the Empire State Building . . . these are some of the symbolic images of New York City captured in Iconic New York Coloring Book. Twenty-four of these magnificent sights are portrayed in detailed line drawings filled with patterns, abstracts, and florals that are fun to fill in. And colored pencils or pens are all that is needed to bring the drawings to life. Coloring is a great activity for all ages, and no skill is required. With 24 detachable pages to color and frame, Iconic New York Coloring Book is the perfect way to capture and remember the best of the Big Apple.

My new roommate moves in tomorrow morning, so I got these flowers and colored this cute postcard from the tagged book for her while listening to the Younger podcast!

Also, after listening to The SSR Podcast, @sebrittain ‘s Unassigned Reading Podcast, and now Younger Uncovered, I‘m officially addicted to podcasts, haha.

Bklover Those flowers are gorgeous! 6y
BethM I enjoyed SSR! 6y
Kaylamburson Thanks!! Just picked them up from the corner bodega! I think I should make it a weekly thing. They really freshen up the apartment. @Bklover 6y

kstadt929 How sweet! I even want to be your new roommate 😋 6y
Kaylamburson I‘m so glad! I did, too! Did you listen to both Harriet the Spy and Princess Diaries? I‘m super excited for Matilda next week since I really connected with it growing up. @bethm 6y
Kaylamburson Awwww, thanks @kstadt929 😊😊😊 6y
BethM I did! I wish we got the list sooner so we could read along. I won't be able to read Matilda bc my library is out of copies. I couldn't believe how bad Harriet was! But in reality it's just Mean Girls in book form. 6y
Kaylamburson Yeah, I really didn‘t remember Harriet the Spy at all, and I‘m thinking Matilda might be the same. I have seen the Matilda movie more times than I can count, but I‘m wondering how inappropriate the book will be. Especially the chockie scenes. I reread the Twits last year and was shocked how nasty some of it was. @bethm 6y
BethM I honestly don't think I read any Dahl when I was a kid. Maybe James and the Giant Peach? I loved the movie as a kid, and it makes me cringe as an adult. I have to forward through the adult abuse/neglect scenes. 6y
Kaylamburson The Twits and The Witches were my favorite, but I think they are all a bit darker than I remembered. I think I only saw the Peach movie. But it is so tough to watch. It‘s so redeeming tho at the end! @bethm 6y
rubyslippersreads I‘ll have to find this podcast, because I ❤️ Harriet the Spy! 6y

Kaylamburson I would definitely be curious to hear your thoughts after listening to it and if you still love it or think you would remember it the same way! @rubyslippersreads 6y
