If I had read this book 20 years ago, it would be a favorite today. Unfortunately, this is my first read at 31, so it is pretty mid shapeshifter YA. Kudos on some excellent enemies to lovers vibes. Additionally, if you read a lot of fanfiction like me, you may agree that the shape shifting was underutilized.

I give this 3.5 stars. I like the world building, but this is definitely a first book of a series and still has some of the angst that drives me crazy in #YAfantasy Still I may come back and read more of this series in the future. #glorytotheguild

Man I forgot how addictive YA stories can be. Fell in love with a world and characters that I‘ve loved for almost as long as I‘ve loved fantasy. Managed to squeak one last book into 2017, and will be starting 2018 with the next book in the series. Since I dont have a picture, please enjoy Lucille. #catsoflitsy
