I Think I Love You: Oxford 5
I Think I Love You: Oxford 5 | Lauren Layne
5 posts | 11 read | 1 to read
Fans of Julie James, Carly Phillips and Chanel Cleeton - meet the men of Oxford magazine! New York Times bestseller Lauren Layne's Oxford Series continues with I Think I Love You, in which a game of seduction between two best friends goes deliciously wrong... Brit Robbins knows that dating in New York City is hard - she just hoped to have it mastered by age thirty. But after yet another promising suitor says they have no sparks, Brit decides it's time to torch her dating game and try a new plan. And who better to coach Brit through the art of seduction than the guy who first gave her the 'let's be friends' card? Hunter Cross has always figured there's nothing his best friend Brit can do to surprise him. But Brit's request is a surprise he doesn't see coming - and one he's definitely not prepared for. Hunter and Brit have always been careful to keep things perfectly platonic, but the fake dates and faux flirting are starting to feel like the real deal. And soon Hunter realizes he has taught Brit too well. Not only has she become an expert at seduction, the man becoming thoroughly seduced is him. Want more fun, fresh, flirty and very sexy rom-com? Check out all the titles in the Oxford series: Irresistibly Yours, I Wish You Were Mine, Someone Like You and I Knew You Were Trouble and don't miss the warm, witty and sexy Wedding Belles series and the I Do, I Don't series, as well as the romantic standalones in the Love Unexpectedly series.

Good read overall, less good than other Layne Oxford novels. Sweet friends to lovers tale as coworker/best friends realize they‘ve been meant to be together all along.

Continuing my romance binge. I didn‘t love this as much as her other ones, but I did burn my turkey hot dog and almost late to work being consumed by it. So, there‘s that ...

saresmoore Haha! Burning food and being late—the true measures of an engaging story! 5y

Bklover That title makes me hear David Cassidy singing in my head. Shows you how old I am! 5y
Reggie @Bklover you are not alone. In my head I went with it.... so what am I so afraid of..... 5y
Bklover @Reggie I‘m afraid that I‘m not sure of a love there is no cure for🎶🎵🎶🎵. So glad I‘m not the only one, Reggie! 5y

I thought we were done with the Oxford series after Book # 4 (It sure felt like it with a cameo from *everyone* in the Oxford & Stiletto series showing up) but here we are again. This is a Best-Friends-to-Lovers thing with Brit asking Hunter to teach her the art of seduction, to get out of the friend zone with her other dates. A pick though I hope this is really the final installment. The “Friends” (TV show) vibe is getting old.

This is the final book in one of my favourite series. Lauren Layne has captured that sudden magic when nest friends suddenly sees themselves as something more. It was perfect and for fans of the series, a bit bittersweet since it is a farewell as well for series.

Curling up with I Think I Love You by #LaurenLayne on this rainy Friday evening. Flood watches are out so I‘ll definitely be staying home. #WhenWillItEnd #PleaseStopRaining
