Mission to Murder
Mission to Murder | Lynn Cahoon
4 posts | 7 read | 3 to read
In the California coastal town of South Cove, history is one of its many tourist attractions—until it becomes deadly. . . Jill Gardner, proprietor of Coffee, Books, and More, has discovered that the old stone wall on her property might be a centuries-old mission worthy of being declared a landmark. But Craig Morgan, the obnoxious owner of South Cove's most popular tourist spot, The Castle, makes it his business to contest her claim. When Morgan is found murdered at The Castle shortly after a heated argument with Jill, even her detective boyfriend has to ask her for an alibi. Jill decides she must find the real murderer to clear her name. But when the killer comes for her, she'll need to jump from historic preservation to self-preservation. . . "Murder, dirty politics, pirate lore, and a hot police detective: Guidebook to Murder has it all! A cozy lover's dream come true." --Susan McBride, author of The Debutante Dropout Mysteries

#2 in the series. These are hitting the spot for fast easy reads during the busy holiday season.

@TheSpineView #Two4Tuesday

Thanks for the tag @JaclynW 😊

1. No, I don‘t have to go back and reread the previous book.

2. Yes, though I‘m only actively reading the tagged. I have books in several other series that I plan to get to as time allows, including Sarah Fox, and Ellery Adams. I‘m also waiting on new releases in series from Martha Wells and Sherry Thomas.

TheSpineView Thanks for playing! 🌞 4y
JaclynW I read the first book in the Sherry Thomas series on Lady Sherlock. It was fun. I keep thinking I will go back to the series....this is my problem with series reads. I've read so many of first books! Haha! 4y
SW-T @JaclynW I‘ve read a lot of firsts too, though many don‘t get continued. The ones that get me are when I think it‘s the first and then discover it‘s not.... 🙄 4y
JaclynW @SW-T I've had that happen too. 4y
