OK, I have no books that qualify as both swashbucklers & old cool books so I decided there must be some pirate food in one of my retro party cookbooks. Then I found the S.S. Billy, the Ship Ahoy Cake that 'delights the backyard pirate crew' in this 1959 Holiday Cookbook. The recipe blurb that says "Good Ship Billy climaxes the party on a nautical note" made me snort.?The lego swashbuckler is just for added fun! ☠️⚔️?
