Both entertaining and extremely informational, this book really appealed to the geeky side of the wine lover in me. I felt like a proud student when Jason writes about some obscure fact that I already knew & I was an eager student to learn more interesting and obscure facts about wines. I knew nothing about. I enjoyed his travels, his "must try one suggestions", and his sense of humor. Education is important & this is areally fun education! Cheers

Continuing my lockdown crash course in wine, I loved this book about the weird and wonderful (sometimes not wonderful) off the beaten track grapes that exist in the wine world beyond the Chardonnays and Merlots. I was amazed by how much history and heritage there is in the thousands of grapes that almost no one has heard of (certainly not me!). As with all good wine books, this made me want to buy loooots of wine
