I chose this memoir for my #readafrica2022 to represent #rwanda. Two sides to every story. Well, in this case Hollywood‘s version and this memoir written by a survivor of the genocide. At times heartbreaking and horrifying his words stand as witness to his experience. If he could live through it and write about it. I could read it. @Librarybelle @BarbaraBB

5 ? If you've seen the movie "Hotel Rwanda", you need to read this memoir from a survivor of that hotel. This memoir not only tells how one man survived the genocide but also is well researched and cited for his claims against the hotel manager.

Litsy might eventually have filters on the feed so you can just scan through quotes, but for now, you might have success scanning for the quote posts.
