Bailedbailed

Oh dear, my first bail of the year and it‘s January‘s #bookspin title. I got as far as 122/663, and even though the subject matter is interesting to me (Romantic poets Keats, Shelley and Byron and the women who loved them...)
I just find it too slow. Perhaps I will set it aside and tackle it later. I feel too dumb for it now. @TheAromaofBooks

BookishMarginalia Some books we just pick up at the wrong moment, so moving on is the best option 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3y
TheAromaofBooks Yep, sometimes you just have to let one go. I did enjoy another of Morgan's books a great deal - it was fun & humorous, more fluffy than serious historical fiction. 3y

I haven‘t read this one, but I‘m fascinated by the Romantic poets and their lives. This one is told from the viewpoints of the women the women that loved them, and begins with the death of Mary Wollestonecraft Shelley.
