I did not pan this because I love A Christmas Carol and retelling the story through texts is an interesting twist - it was poorly executed and very sloppy - I would suggest getting this from the library if it sounds interesting to you 🙂

This version of A Christmas Carol told through texts and social media posts was okay. Sometimes the only reason I understood what was happening is that I‘ve read the book and seen multiple movie versions of it multiple times. In some areas, it was a little too jokey for me. I didn‘t hate it, but I won‘t be reading it again either like I do the original book.
