Finally got around to making some seasonal treats last night. A double batch of sugar cookies from the tagged cookbook decorated with fun sprinkles from Target should go over well at my son‘s Scouts meeting tonight.

The recipe is here. I leave out the almond extract in case anyone has nut allergies.

I have 3 books with this title. One I got for my wedding shower in 1973, another I bought myself in the 90's, and this one was my mom's from the 50's. I still use some of the recipes that I grew up with, taken from this book. And look at those yummy salads! 😜😜#cookbooklove #photoadaynov16

missjenniferlowe I have a copy of the one in the lower right, which I bought at a Friends of the Library sale. It is filled with the former owners notes and recipe clippings. I ❤️ it! 7y
