The oh so subtle title of Dark Nights: METAL: Dark Knights Rising is a good indicator of what you‘re in for.

This book collects 7 brutal and often grisly tragedies from 7 different worlds of the Dark Multiverse. On each world Bruce Wayne went bad in a different way, often murdering millions. Now this league of evil Batmans sets its sights on the regular old Multiverse where our heroes reside.

Good, if you don‘t mind unrelenting darkness.

I got so caught up in finding quotes related to Batman (I don‘t know why, it just happened). I will now find poetry that relates to this post‘s quote, thereby redeeming myself?
